Are you licensed and insured in Connecticut?

Yes, we are licensed and insured in both CT and NY

Project Scope and Timeline:

Yes, we are both a kitchen design and contracting company

Can you walk me through your typical kitchen remodel process?

Prior to the renovation, our design team will discuss layout, cabinet door style and color, and shop for all finished materials so they are ordered prior to your project beginning. Once demolition is completed, we would do all rough plumbing and electrical for your project, and install new flooring if needed. We would then install cabinets and have counters templated for installation. Once counters are installed, we would install backsplash tile and any finishing touches (lighting, appliance installation, knobs and handle installation etc.)

How long will the project take to complete?

Depending on how big the project is and if includes reconfiguring a space, a typical kitchen renovation is anywhere from 4-6 weeks. If you are looking to incorporate it with an addition of total home renovation, this would take longer.

Budget and Design:

Can you provide me with a ballpark estimate for my project?

It is difficult to give a ballpark cost on any renovation, because there are so many variables involved. We do offer complimentary estimates to homeowners with a detailed explanation of the costs associated to each project

Do you offer design services, or will I need to hire a separate designer?

Yes, we offer design services

What are some ways we can stay within my budget?

Keeping within the original layout of your kitchen helps with keeping costs down, and also, finished material selections.

Yes, we can provide you with references, and can provide that information to you upon request when we provide you with our proposal and design

Prior to the renovation, our design team will discuss bathroom layout and shop for all finished materials so they are ordered prior to your project beginning. Powder Room and Hallway Bathrooms usually take 1-2 weeks to complete. Primary Bathrooms can take upwards of 4 weeks to complete, since they are usually more extensive projects

Budget and Design:

Can you provide me with a ballpark estimate for my project?

There are so many variables that are factored into each estimate, including if there is a tub and shower or just one wet space. Do you want multiple shower heads? Are we reconfiguring the space or utilizing the current floor plan? What type of materials are we using? We do offer complimentary in-home consultations, and from there we will provide you with a detailed estimate

Do you offer design services, or will I need to hire a separate designer?

Yes, we offer design services

What are some ways we can maximize functionality and storage space in my bathroom remodel?

If there is enough space for a double vanity or pantry, that will allow you to have enough storage for all of your needs including towel and linens. Sometimes reconfiguring the space helps with functionality as well

Permits and Unexpected Issues:

Do you handle obtaining permits for the bathroom remodel?

Yes, we take care of all the permitting process for you, including inspections

How do you handle unexpected issues that may arise during the project?

While we normally include contingency for larger projects only, we always recommend to homeowners to reserve a certain amount aside for any unforeseen circumstances. This usually only happens once demolition is completed and once walls are open. If something is ever found and needs to be addressed, we do however put a stop to the project, to discuss the details of what was found and what needs to be done to move forward with the homeowner for approval prior to any additional work being completed.
